Challenges
Intel Education Study is an ebook reader designed for specifically education. The biggest challenges with this platform was continuously getting vetted user requirements. The product had originally been designed for low volume, higher ed consumers with reliable network access. However with the acquisition, the business strategy changed to high volume, enterprise education sales to international audiences with limited and unreliable network access. Collaborating with remote designers and engineering teams to create a coherent cross device user experience was a challenge we overcame.
With the help of the team, I determined the type of research needed, what we could afford and what was worth doing given our budget. Research was carried out and reports were shared the various teams. From this, I worked with the team to successfully identified and prioritized problems to solve in order to better support the business strategy.
